Josh Gottry’s performance record spans over 25 years with experience ranging from professional orchestras to poolside steel drum, musical theater to solo recitals, and church worship teams to jazz combos and chamber ensembles. He has served as principal percussionist with the Flagstaff Symphony and Symphony of the Southwest and performed with the West Valley Symphony Orchestra, West Valley Chamber Percussion Ensemble, and Salt River Brass. He has played percussion and drumset for the Chandler Children’s Choir, ACDA Western Division Honor Choir, OAKE National Conference Choirs, Phoenix Girls Chorus, and Phoenix Theatre, performed regularly for music theater productions at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, and spent ten years as the first-call alternate for the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater. He is also the author of Freelance: 10 Commonsense Keys to Making YOUR Music YOUR Business, published by C. Alan Publications.
